Name: Peter Griffin A big, boisterous, lovable oaf who isn't afraid to say what's on his freakin' mind -- usually the wrong thing at exactly the wrong time. He lives in Quahog, Rhode Island with his wife, Lois, their three children -- Chris, Meg and Stewie -- and his well-spoken best friend, Brian, the family dog. Peter would do anything for his family, as long as it doesn't get in the way of his TV time. He is a bit slow at taking in information and often makes rash decissions. If Peter tries to sort out a bad situation, it usually gets worse. Peter is employed at the Happy-Go-Lucky Toy Factory in Quahog by Mr. Weed. His favorite past- times are drinking beer with his friends at the Drunken Clam, and watching television. |
Name: Lois Griffin Lois Pewterschmidt is the wife of Peter Griffin. With out her, the whole family would fall apart, she provides a voice of reason and sense. Lois teachers the piano during the afternoon and spends the rest of her time doing housework and looking after the family. She has her hands full looking after their baby Stewie who has grown a dangerous dislike to her. When she needs someone to turn to she chats with Brian, the family dog. As perhaps the only two members of the family with an ounce of sanity they find they have a lot in common. Lois comes from a wealthy background, and met Peter whilst spending the summer at her aunts summer house in Newport where Peter was working as a towel boy. |
Name: Meg Griffin Meg is the moody teenage daughter and the eldest of her siblings. She is also Peter and Lois' only daughter. Meg has a tough life, her family is a total embarrassment to her, and she has very few friends at school. All Meg wants to be is popular. Meg's only talent is that she can do great bird whistles. Notes: Meg was voiced by Lacey Chabert In the first season, although she was uncredited for the role. |
Name: Chris Griffin Chris, the eldest son of the Griffin's. He is quite clearly taking after his father, already proving that he is rather dim when it comes to common sense. He enjoys watching televison, playing computer games and painting. He is afraid of the evil monkey that lives in his room. Notes: From the third produced season, Chris loses his trademark earing. |
Name: Stewie Gilligan Griffin The baby of the Griffin's family, Stewie is an unusual baby in that he has developed the abilities to speak, read and think intelligently very fast. According to Stewie the whole World is against him, especially his mother Lois. Stewie is continually trying to kill her, yet all his attempts have failed so far. Although the family can understand him, they ignore his aggressive comments putting them down as silly baby talk. His only friend is his gay teddy bear, Rupert. Stewie himself has shown homosexual tendencies. |
Name: Brian Griffin No ordinary family dog. Brian is Peter's best friend. He has lived with the Griffin's for many years now, and has been accepted as one of the family after Peter brought him home one day for dinner after Brian tried to clean the car windscreen for money. Brian usually has to sort Peter out when he gets in the usual mess. Peter probably wouldn't survive without Brian. He has a background of being an entertainer and has a great singing voice. Now he spends his days drinking cocktails, sunbathing and reading. |
